Working Principle:

The basic working principle of induction lamp is based on electromagnetic induction and gas discharge theory. In short, it is the low pressure mercury gas discharge under the high-frequency electric vortex induced by high-frequency magnetic field. The electronic ballast generate a working frequency current around 230KHz, which will be transferred to power coupler through feeder. There will exist a high-frequency magnetic field when the high-frequency current go through the power coupler. The changing magnetic field then will produce a changing electric field in vertical, which will cause the steam mixed with low pressure mercury gas and inert gas to be ionized and form plasma. The mercury atoms will radiate ultraviolet ray of 253.7nm from excited states back to ground state. The ultraviolet ray will be turned to visible light through the three colors phosphor on the inside wall of lamp tubular.
