Installation and Operation

For ease of maintenance the flash tube is mounted inside the glass lens in a specially sealed integral lamp holder with colour coded flying leads to avoid wrong connection when lamp changing. The leads are simply plugged into the single main circuit board housed in the base along with the electronic circuitry, discharge capacitor, flash rate adjuster and incoming supply and earth terminal. Cable entry is via the side of the aluminium base enclosure.
